Friend1nDeed x Rainbow Centre
I participated and organized a social enterprise called Friends1nDeed as part of our group project for the module Managing Social Service Organisation. Friends1nDeed is established with the purpose of raising funds through selling fashion accessories for Rainbow Centre for their Admiral Hill School in Marsiling. The fundraising was done on Giving.Sg.

In this project, I served as the Finance Manager and organized a internal fund-raising which raised over $600.00. I also implemented and enforced policies for the procurement and reimbursements of logistics to ensure that every funds are accountable for. As for our department, we managed and maintained 29 donor's information through validating the amount that they donated. Apart from the administrative stuff, the Finance Department also contributed in the selling price and development of the accessories design, which allowed us to reach 50% of our goal.​

This project was well-liked by our donors as Friends1nDeed managed to raise over $1,100 over 50 days. Furthermore, Friends1nDeed's Instagram account managed to engage at least 20 - 30 followers per post, which is approximately 20% of our followers.
During this project, I learned how to manage and maintain donors' data, draft and enforce policies, process donations, and issue receipts for reimbursements. A few skills that I honed in this project are communication, leadership, attention to detail, and teamwork.
